I design and run partnership programs across sports, music, fashion, film, and tech — then get every team in the building to row in the same direction. Most recently: building a partnerships function from zero for a nationally recognized culture festival.
Black Joy Parade needed a partnerships and communications strategy that didn't exist yet — for a nationally recognized culture and music festival with sponsors, artists, media, agencies, and community stakeholders all moving at once.
I built it from the ground up. That meant designing programs that worked across every partner type at once — not a single vertical — and serving as the connective tissue between artists, sponsors, media, and community partners, while directing high-profile talent relationships and balancing brand reputation against fast-moving priorities.
I negotiated media and strategic partnerships that added measurable annual value, and built the systems, messaging, and planning processes that let a growing organization execute consistently as it scaled — the same 0-to-1 problem a newly forming field team faces.
